INTEGRIS Pension Management

A website that lasted nearly a decade, then a full rebuild — and now an IT department that runs on agents.

INTEGRIS Pension Management — INTEGRIS Pension Management Corp

We built INTEGRIS their first website in 2014. It ran for nearly nine years without a rewrite. When they came back, the conversation wasn’t about a website. It was about products, growth, and how the company actually operates day to day.

The surface and the plumbing

So we rebuilt both. A bilingual EN/FR marketing site, designed around the products instead of the brochure. The customer portal and the internal Workbench platform, moved out of legacy and into a maintained, tested codebase. Infrastructure reviewed end to end — Azure consolidated, the edge moved onto Cloudflare, email deliverability locked down across every domain, Microsoft 365 and device management brought under one policy. Analytics that finally answer the question being asked.

An IT department that runs on agents

Then we changed how the department works. INTEGRIS runs an AI layer now, and it isn’t a chatbot bolted onto a website: agentic workstations for the team, ticket triage and daily operating briefs running unattended on Azure, and a pension knowledge base — authority-tiered Canadian pension law, CRA guidance and actuarial source material — that grounds every answer in something citable.

In regulated finance you can’t ship a model that guesses. Everything is sourced, the data stays in Canada, and a person signs off before anything reaches a client.

Why it worked

A decade of context. We knew which parts of the business were load-bearing and which were just accumulated habit, so the cost cuts took out waste instead of capability.

The same applied to the AI work: it started from what the team actually does all day, not from a demo. INTEGRIS doesn’t brief us as a vendor. We’re the department.
