Monitor progress bar update via taskbar on Windows 7

I'm copying a huge folder from an external hard drive today and it says it's going to take about an hour. As I'm working on other tasks, I just noticed there is a green line next to the folder icon, at first I think something is messing up. Then after about 25% I noticed that the green line has grown! to a bar, I quickly glance at the progress bar window and it coordinates with the bar on the folder icon! Good job Microsoft on Windows 7!
